A seven-room guesthouse in the chic Bangsar Baru neighborhood adds a touch of retro chic to Kuala Lumpur’s hotel scene. Created by cutting-edge landscape architect Seksan, the two-level renovated 1970’s bungalow features exposed-brick walls, vertical gardens and recycled doors. Scattered throughout the house are original artworks by local talent: make sure to check out the adjacent art gallery. Guests share a small kitchen, indoor-outdoor dining and lounge areas, and the affections of two friendly rescue dogs.

LOCATION

A 15-minute walk leads to Bangsar's boutique-, café- and bar-rich lanes. The lightrail station is a 4 minute walk from where it is a brief ride to downtown Kuala Lumpur.
